SQLSaturday #38 Jacksonville Florida

As those of you have attended the monthly meetings most of our presenters have talked about networking especially when you are looking for a job. One source that several of them have suggested is Linkedin. Well I took that advice and set up my profile, as well as joined a few groups. One of them is a local SQL Server Users group. They are sponsoring an event in May that I think would be beneficial for everyone to attend, especially if you are in the DBA track like I am. Below is the post I recieved about the event

SqlSaturday May 8th 2010 at UNF announcement
It's about three months to 38 and we're hard at work nailing down all the little details that make the difference. We'll do most of the work, but there is one place where you can help us - spread the word about the event.

Tell your IT team (including the CIO) that we've a great event coming up on May 08, 2010 at The University of North Florida Campus, 1 UNF Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224 and that you'll be attending - and that you hate to go alone!

It just takes a minute to send an email or instant message, or just print this email and post it in the main hallway, and it can really help us have a spectacular event.

We're still working on the schedule, but where is what has been submitted so far: Here's our current schedule of presentations:
