2005 National Collegiate Conference

This was our first NCC and we came back with 2 awards. There were almost 900 attendees from over 60 schools. Alan Doucette, Gigi Walker, and our faculty advisor Prof. Chambliss went to Atlanta, GA, to represent AITP@FCCJ.

Alan came back with an Honorable Mention Award for Student Chapter Website and Gigi came back with an Honorable Mention Award for Technical Banner. We also met with several IT employers and learned a lot about the IT industry. We would like to thank our Jacksonville Professional Chapter for sending a professional member to support us.

2004 Region 7 Student Conference

We sent one student (Gigi Walker) and one advisor (Albert Ritzhaupt) to the Region 7 Student Conference in Nashville, TN.

Here is what Prof. Ritzhaupt had to say about the conference.

"The AITP Region 7 collegiate conference was a great success. The
event was hosted by ITT of Nashville and the local professional
chapter. More than 75 students from 6 states attended the event
to network with other IT students and practitioners, and to
compete with the best and brightest students in Region 7 AITP.

FCCJ sent one student and one faculty advisor to the event.
The faculty advisor judged the .NET and Systems Analysis and
Design competition, while the student gathered information
to bring back to students interested in attending the national
conference in April.
