Classes being added to spring semester
I just got off the phone with Ernie Friend who is over the Network Technology program with some great news. He is adding CTS2302 (directory config) and CTS2330 (Exchange server) to the spring schedule. CTS 2302 is up already and CTS2330 will be in the next few days. These are both 8 week classes and are back to back on Wednesday nights. These are going to be great classes with the new emphasis being put on virtualization like it is. We need to get people signed up for these classes to make sure they stay on the schedule. the only prereq is CTS1334. Save your seat now. These are great courses for those of us on the networking side that don't want to take Cisco classes and fits nicely with the Security track.

SQLSaturday #38 Jacksonville Florida
As those of you have attended the monthly meetings most of our presenters have talked about networking especially when you are looking for a job. One source that several of them have suggested is Linkedin. Well I took that advice and set up my profile, as well as joined a few groups. One of them is a local SQL Server Users group. They are sponsoring an event in May that I think would be beneficial for everyone to attend, especially if you are in the DBA track like I am. Below is the post I recieved about the event

It's about three months to 38 and we're hard at work nailing down all the little details that make the difference. We'll do most of the work, but there is one place where you can help us - spread the word about the event.
